You are warmly invited to EUB's inaugural research lecture with Professor Andrew Nix, President of Euro University of Bahrain on Wednesday 14th February 2024.

"Research impact and innovation — a journey from Wi-Fi to 5G"

Speaker Bio: Professor Andrew has published more than 600 international papers and successfully supervised 65 PhD students. Andrew is well-known for his ground-breaking research contributions that shaped the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standards. More recently, Professor Andrew's 5G wireless research is globally recognized for tackling societal challenges to smart cities, urban transportation, and digital healthcare.

Time and Location: The event will run from 3pm-5pm. The lecture starts at 3:30pm with time for Q&A and networking. The event will take place at EUB City Campus, Al Hedaya Plaza, Second Floor, 57 Government Avenue, Manama (opposite to Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
